Georg Hasse is Head of International Sales at the Division Homeland Security of secunet Security Networks AG in Germany. Georg studied Business Administration in Germany, the UK and the USA and holds a European Executive MBA from ESCP Europe, Paris. He started his career at Rheinmetall, Germany and went on to serve as Director of Strategic Government Programs at Crossmatch. Georg has over 15 years' experience in Biometrics & eIDs and is an active member of the German Biometrics Working Group, the European Association for Biometrics (eab) and of the Biometrics Institute (BI).

He has been involved in key e-ID and border control projects, for example ePassport Germany & Thailand, eVisa Germany, Automated Border Control EasyPASS in Germany & EasyGO in the Czech Republic.
