Margus Noormaa has been managing the Information System Authority since 22 April 2019. Previously, he worked as Director of the Information Technology Centre of the Ministry of Finance, where he was responsible for the development, management, and provision of ICT services of the ministry and the area of government.

Noormaa has held several positions at the Tax and Customs Board, including the position of Deputy Director General. He is also a member of the supervisory board of the State Infocommunication Foundation.

Margus Noormaa was born on 9 June 1970. He has graduated from the Estonian Academy of Security Sciences and has a Master’s degree in IT management from Tallinn University.
